The Zoo!!!!

So far, we have made it to the zoo, twice this season! We went last Friday, and only made our way around the African Journey...we our going to try to do just one section plus the main circle, at each visit this year, so it doesn't get to tiring for us by the end of the each trip!! Hopefully then, we will get to enjoy each section to the fullest...

Bill, the male lion, was very mobile when we were there last Friday...it was so much fun to watch him walk around, he even jumped on a tree branch and was making all kinds of sounds...he was probably confused by all the people watching him, since it's so early in the season!

He looks kind of angry here...yikes!

The drums are always a huge hit!

Today we went to the Zoo with my friend Jessica and her two kids, Xander and baby girl Zoey! Since they haven't been to the zoo in a while, we decide to make our way around the entire zoo...and that really reinforced us only going around only one section this summer!! Boy, was it a hot day and a lot of walking!! It was still a lot of fun, but by the end the kids were very HOT and TIRED and were ready to be done!!

I was so mad that someone stood right in front of me when I was taking a picture of Addi feeding the giraffe...but I got a good one of Xander!!

Pony Rides!!

Addi rode on a pony named Cindy today! She really had a great time and is much more independent than she was last year...she wants to do everything by herself!!

Addi even wanted to ride the carousel by herself and on a moving animal...WOW, that's a major change from last year...we had to slowly get her used to the carousel last year and she started off this year by being so brave and independent! YAY, I was so proud of her:)
