We had the most amazing vacation in Florida! We were there for 12 days...It was a perfect get-a-way after a very hard time in our lives, with the passing of Eric's dad! The girls had so much fun and we just loved watching their faces light up at the simplest things! You would have thought that Addi was finding out for the first time that she was going to the pool when we told her everyday that our plans included the pool! She was sooooo excited! She was quite the fish...She loves her life jacket because she could swim in the deep end, but by the end of the week was swimming, in the shallow end with NO life jacket!!

After we discovered Aubrey's LOVE for the sand (eating the sand, that is) we had to buy a beach tent--and to keep the sun off of her, that sun is fierce on the beach!
Eric caught 2 baby hammerhead sharks--right off the beach---needless to say, I didn't go in the gulf anymore :)

Memaw Maureen came down for the last five days with us and then stayed a week after we left. We had a great time with her!
