Addi started dance class last night & to no surprise to us, she absolutely LOVED it!! She is such a little performer and nowhere near shy, so we knew this would be a perfect extra curricular activity to get her involved in!! She loves her little dance outfits and of course she loves her tap shoes...she loves the sound they make and loves putting on little shows for us at home!! She was so thrilled to actually get in the dance studio and dance with the mirrors surrounding her!! She definitely takes after her Aunt Jenn, who has always been a natural performer and continues to be an amazing dancer!! We knew tap would be the dance of choice for Addi because she gets instant gratification when she hears the noise her shoes make...I cannot wait to see her dance skills improve and continue to see her face light up when she gets into the studio, she was born to preform:)

Before her teacher came in the room to introduce herself, to the class and parents, Addi was putting on her own little show...acting like she knew all the dance moves!! Most of the other kids were clinging to their parents legs...NOT Addi, she must of thought she was the teacher!
The parents can't stay in the room during dance class, but there are several monitors in the waiting room, where parents can watch their kids while they wait!! From what we could see, Addi did a great job, following instructions and learning her first official tap move...SHUFFLE STEP!! She's constantly doing the shuffle step around the house now:)
We are so proud of our little dancer and look forward to watching her improve and definitely can't wait for her first recital in June:) Now, that will be adorable!!
